Kofi Nyan is heard in the video telling the teenager ‘Me wcw ate ka. One hour biaa y3 Ghs200’ during the act.

The incident took place at Mumford, near Apam in the Central Region of Ghana where the accused lured the victim to sexually assault her after accusing her of stealing GHS800.

The Cape Coast Circuit Court 2 convicted Nyan, a father of nine after he pleaded guilty to the charge of defilement.

The presiding judge, Her Honour Nana Aba Quibe Nunoo, characterized the act as “shameful and inhumane,” emphasizing the need for tougher punishments in situations like this.

According to prosecutors, investigations revealed that the victim only stole Ghc 60.

In a statement signed by ASP/MR. Patrick Bentum Ag.,the accused person has been sent to the Ankaful Prison to start his sentence.
