Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has emphasized the progress made by the NDC government in stabilizing and resetting the Ghanaian economy on the right path.
Dr. Ato Forson during the presentation of the 2026 Budget Statement to Parliament on Thursday, November 13, outlined that the administration has managed to reduce inflation, stabilized the cedi, and given hope to investors that the country is safe to engage in business of mutual benefits.
He characterized the recent economic growth as the best strategic effort by the government to mitigate the harsh economic pressures passed down from the erstwhile Akufo-Addo’s administration.
The Finance Minister affirmed the government’s commitment to the judicious management of public finances and the preservation of current achievements.
“The Black Star is rising again, and confidence is coming back.” Yes, our Black Stars are going to the World Cup, but Ghana is back, stronger, and more optimistic than ever. Now that the tide has finally turned, Ghana’s economy has rebounded and investor confidence has increased. “The economy of Ghana has found its rhythm again,” he stated in Parliament.
