The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Engineers and planners, Businessman and Philanthropist, Ibrahim Mahama has reportedly reached out to offer his support to Suzzy Pinnamang, the SDA Senior High School Student who was tragically shot in the face by a fellow student.
Pinanmang suffered serious injuries when her colleague Bernard Amoabeng fired a gun following a dispute about its functionality.
The unfortunate incident which happened on April 4,2025 has left Suzzy visually impaired, and she can’t sleep or close her eyes because of the tremendous agony caused by the bullet fragments that are still in her eye.
Due to her current predicament Suzzy cannot attend school and her family is struggling to cater for her basic medical needs. This has necessitated her plea from benevolent Ghanaians to come to her aid in a video going viral on social media.
Following sighting of the video showing Suzzy’s plea for help from him (Ibrahim Mahama) and Kennedy Agyapong, the business mogul has directed for her to be flown to Accra for immediate medical attention at the renowned ophthalmology facility, Dr. Agarwals Eye Clinic. This was made known in a Facebook post by Rifik Mahama, the personal aide to Ibrahim Mahama.
He has also committed to covering the full cost of treatment and travel expenses, should medical care abroad be required.
According to Rafik, Suzzy is expected to be in Accra on Monday 5th May,2025 to begin her surgery process at Dr Agarwals Eye Clinic.
Suzzy was earlier rushed to the Kwadaso hospital and later transferred to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for further treatment to remove the bullets. However, her condition has not improved.
