Ghanaian musician Akua Afiyie known in the gospel fraternity as Mabel Okyere has revealed in an interview monitored by smartandstuck.com that she is not a virgin.
The vocalist wanted to set the record straight as many people are raising concerns about an answer she gave in relation to her virginity during an interview some few days ago which confirmed that she was a virgin.
When questioned about her dishonesty on her virginity, the ‘ɛha yɛ kwan ho’ hitmaker contended that the interviewer might have posed a more appropriate question but chose to invade her privacy instead.
Speaking during Tv XYZ Entertainment Review on Saturday June 21, the singer also confirmed she is not married at the moment but will do so at the right time.
Discussing her music journey, Madam Okyere indicated that she has a good number of songs to her name but the ‘ɛha yɛ kwan ho’ song gave her the breakthrough she has always wanted. In her account, she stated that there were times she wanted to give up but persisted despite the low patronage she gained.
Mabel Okyere is a Ghanaian gospel musician who started her music journey a decade ago. She has to her collection ‘Ɛha Yɛ Kwan Ho, So Far So Good, Me Wɔ Jesus’ and other captivating songs and has played a significant role in selling Ghana’s gospel music to the outside world.
