
The Leader and Founder of the Christo Asafo Church, Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo, has peacefully passed away.
According to the family, the revered leader popularly referred to as the ‘African Star’, kicked the bucket on Thursday September, 11.
His family and the Kristo Asafo Church spoke highly of him, praising him as a man of God who made significant contributions to society through his work in technology, philanthropy, agriculture, and industry.
He was deeply committed to philanthropy and community development in addition to elevating Ghana’s technological and economic scene as the Founder of the Kantanka brand.
“The Safo family and the Kristo Asafo Church announce with great sorrow the peaceful passing of Ghana’s esteemed religious leader, renowned technological innovator, philanthropist, agricultural expert, and industrialist”.
Sarah Adwoa Safo, his daughter and a former member of parliament, said in a statement that details about the funeral will be shared at a later date. Additionally, it requested the public to be respectful of their personal space and give them privacy as they grieve.
