Postings for prospective national service personnel will be made public by November 1; Acting Executive Director of the National Service Authority (NSA), Ruth Dela Seddoh, clarified.

She assured that individuals awaiting their postings should remain patient, as the system is now under review. She emphasized that all persons due to undergo their mandatory one year service for the nation will soon be posted.

“The structure for the new system has been established, and the transition team has been put in place… She stated, “I am able to guarantee that any potential personnel can relax because the postings will be completed by November 1st.”

The Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment mandated the suspension of the NSA’s Central Management System (CMS) in June due to rising concerns regarding the digital infrastructure employed by the NSA.

The next line of action was a cause of concern and uncertainty for over 150,000 potential service recruits. As a consequence of this decision, which put a stop to this year’s postings, a considerable number of people were concerned about their future.

In June this year, President John Dramani Mahama, issued a directive for the indefinite suspension of CMS; a service responsible for posting service personnel to their various regions.

The directive is to evaluate the system rigorously and perform a technical and forensic audit of it.

The audit has subsequently led to administrative modifications, including the transfer of Felix Gyamfi from his position as Acting Director to the Ministry of Finance.
