The unexpected happened at the SGS Auditorium as the 8-time winners of the National Science and Maths Quiz took on Our Lady of Grace SHS, and Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) in a fierce contest that saw supporters cheering their favorites to victory.

However, participants from Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) demonstrated their resilience by eliminating Presbyterian Boys Secondary School from the competition.

The contest started on a lively note as loud cheers from supporters encouraged participants to give off their best with PRESEC and Ghana Secondary Technical School taking charge in the 1st round with 16 points each. Our Lady of Grace SHS followed closely with 13 points.

During the Trustur AI Speed Race, all the three schools put up a good school but PRESEC took the lead with 24 points while both Our Lady of Grace SHS and GSTS secured 21 and 18 points, respectively.

PRESEC extended their lead in the 3rd round with 4 points while Ghana Secondary Technical School added two points to their already accumulated points with Our Lady of Grace SHS scoring no point.

In the True/False round, all the three schools put in their best to the admiration of their supporters. But PRESEC continued to lead with 38 points, GSTS followed keenly with 30 points while Our Lady of Grace SHS managed to accumulate 28 points.

The final round, which is the GOIL Super Bonanza, was a game-changing moment for GSTS as they precisely answered three riddles in a row to lead the contest with a single point ahead of PRESEC.

At the end of the competition, GSTS scored 39 points while the Accra-based school took the second position with 38 points. Our Lady of Grace SHS had 28 points.
