Suzzy Pinamang, a student at Adventist Senior High School in Kumasi, has returned to the country following a successful eye operation in the United Kingdom, facilitated by business mogul and philanthropist Ibrahim Mahama.
On Thursday, July 3, 2025, she touched down in Ghana. With a grateful heart , she seized the opportunity to thank Ibrahim Mahama for his support while she was being interviewed by some media personalities present at the airport to welcome her.
She believes the businessman has positively transformed her life, and she will remain eternally grateful for his benevolent act.
“I’ll just tell him that I’m thankful for his kindness. I am grateful to him for his kindness since otherwise I would have been blind and I am grateful to him and his family”, she remarked when she got to Ghana.
Pinanmang suffered serious injuries when her colleague Bernard Amoabeng fired a gun following a dispute about its functionality.
The unfortunate incident which happened on April 4,2025 almost made Suzzy visually impaired, as she could sleep or close her eyes because of the tremendous agony caused by the bullet fragments that were still in her eye.
In a video that became a trending topic across multiple social media platforms, she implored compassionate Ghanaians to assist her gain her sight back.
