On Friday, November 28, a school bus transporting students from Wesley Grammar School caught fire at the Kasoa Tollbooth. However, all passengers were able to escape unharmed.

At the moment of the incident, there were 83 students and five teachers aboard the bus.

In an interview with Citi News, the Sports Teacher,Richard Boafo, who was part of the team onboard shared that they were on their way to Ngleshie Amanfro Senior High School for a sporting event when the unfortunate incident occurred.

He confirmed that all persons on board successfully evacuated without any reported injuries.

“Upon observing smoke emanating from the bus, we promptly instructed all students to evacuate without delay.” Thankfully, all 83 students and five teachers on board made it out safely, though the bus was reduced to ashes,” he revealed.
