Kwaku Sintim-Misa popularly known as KSM has shared his thoughts on the recent budget which has caught widespread attention, stating that those who are critiquing the budget had the mandate some years back to turn the fortunes of the country but decided to enrich themselves at the expense of the Ghanaian populace.
We tell it like it is on this program and let the chips fall where they bloody well may. We are prepared to use the truth to smash any jandam. The truth will choke the Jandam, he said during the latest episode of the KSM show.
KSM stressed that persons rubbishing the budget by Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson are only doing so for political purposes.
He posited that the budget is fundamentally sound, notwithstanding a few minor concerns that can be addressed; overall, he is firmly convinced it will fulfill a beneficial role.
He disagreed with MPs who rejected the budget without exhibiting a grasp of its implications. In response to a lawmaker who inquired about the rationale behind the COVID levy, he remarked: “What logic underpins this?” Do you know how good it would have been if she had simply refrained from speaking?
He challenged that the minority in Parliament are not doing any good to themselves because they held onto power for 8 years but they are always remembered for the wrong reasons. You had your opportunity,” he stated. “What you’ve left behind is nothing but a trail of theft, decay, and rot.”
