A final-year student at Dzodze-Penyi Senior High School in the Volta Region has made serious allegations against headmaster Joshua Vidzro, claiming that he sexually abused and impregnated her.
She claimed that the headmaster issued a death threat after she declined to abort the pregnancy.
A report from citinewsroom.com reveals that the student, in an audio recording, communicated her condition to the headmaster.
In a subsequent interview with Dzodze FM, she shared her experience of accompanying the headmaster and another woman to transport a sick colleague to the hospital.
During the return journey, the woman bid farewell, leaving her in the company of the headmaster.
The headmaster then gave her food to eat before taking her to an apartment he purportedly claimed as his own, where the supposed assault took place.
“Once I finished my meal, I intended to throw away the pack, and he guided me to the kitchen.” Upon my return, he secured the door, discarded the keys, and swept me off my foot to the bedroom. I had been shouting the entire time. He began to take off my clothes and imposed himself on me. “Afterwards, he sent me back to school,” she recounted.
Following the incident, she reported feeling unwell, and subsequent medical tests confirmed her pregnancy.
“I told him, and he threatened me, claiming that if I couldn’t end the pregnancy, he would kill me,” she stated.
