Ghanaian female musician, Nana Ekua Amoah, also known by her stage name as Mzbel has revealed shocking information surrounding her child’s father.
Since the well known artist got pregnant till she gave birth, there have been a lot of rumors linking her child to the late colleague musician, Theophilus Tagoe, known in the showbiz circles as Castro.
A lot of people believe that Mzbel had a profound relationship with the late artist and this might have led to the ‘I be 16 years’ hitmaker conceiving for him.
However, responding to such rumors in an interview monitored by smartandstuck.com, she debunked such allegations emphasizing that although she had a relationship with Castro, her son is not for him.
According to Mzbel, the father of her son is a renowned pastor and to avoid public ridicule for a lifetime, has decided not to mention his name.
“Everyone thinks Castro is the father of my child but that’s not true. I gave birth to the child and can confidently tell you the child is for a pastor and not what people think”, she said during the interview.
“I won’t reveal his name because I know Ghanaians will drag me and the baby’s daddy for a very long time.”
She further added that her relationship with Castor ended because, at that time, the Ghana Black Stars players were mingling with musicians and other prominent celebrities. This shift caused Castro to change completely, ultimately leading to the end of their once beautiful relationship.
Mzbel has chosen not to disclose the identity of her son’s father, yet it would not be surprising if Prophet Nigel Gaisie is the one in question. After all, she publicly referred to him as a ‘man of man’ back in 2020, suggesting he may not embody the qualities of a true man of God.
During an interview, she said that the Prophet called one time and asked her to be his friend which she accepted but noted that their friendship was horrible. However, she failed to give details why she claimed Prophet Gaisie is not a man of God.
At the same period, Kennedy Agyapong who is now contesting to be the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer, launched an attack on Prophet Nigel Gaisie, labeling him as a womanizer.
The former Assin Central MP accused him of sexually assaulting Mzbel; however, the President at the time who was John Dramani Mahama stopped the female artist from exposing Prophet Gaisie. This is because, at the time the incident happened, he was the nation’s prophet under president John Dramani Mahama.
