Majeed Ashimeru has acknowledged his exclusion from Ghana’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and has shared his thoughts publicly since Coach Carlos Queiroz officially unveiled the list of players he deemed fit for the tournament.
Despite feeling let down, Ashimeru has rallied behind the Black Stars as they gear up for their opening match against Panama on Wednesday.
“Join us in rallying behind the team to secure a victory in the game. The initial game holds significant importance. We can absolutely win the game,” he declared in a video posted on social media.
The RAAL La Louviere player showcased impressive skills during the friendly match against Mexico, yet he was ultimately excluded from Ghana’s final squad.
