Emmanuel Appiah Boateng has garnered praise from Ghanaians following his commendable act of integrity in returning a substantial sum of Ghs4,000 discovered at Fidelity Bank Ghana, Oyarifa Branch, in a video which has since gone viral.

Emmanuel Appiah Boateng has garnered praise from Ghanaians following his commendable act of integrity in returning a substantial sum of Ghs4,000 discovered at Fidelity bank’s ATM.

Per credible sources, Mr. Boateng went to cash out some funds from his wife’s ATM card after being unemployed for some months now.

However, after what seems to be a normal transaction routine, turned out to be a test of faith for the father of four children.

After previously visiting an ATM and being turned down due to its out-of-service status, a disgruntled Emmanuel attempted to return home until a glimmer of hope prompted him to try again at the Oyarifa branch of Fidelity Bank. His attention was immediately drawn to the funds sitting in the ATM tray.

Despite his finances be bad, Emmanuel chose to act in good fatih and return the money. He called the bank and was instructed on what to do. He followed the directives and handed the full sum to the staff on Monday April, 26 to trace the rightful owner.

He holds a master’s degree in cybersecurity, a bachelor’s degree in information technology and a certificate in project management.

The branch manager, excited about the situation commended Emmanuel stating that his honesty is uncommon.
